What in the world have I gotten myself into. "Hey,
candy is fun.", "Treats are great.", that's what I used
to say. Now, here I am starring down a bar with writing I can't even decipher
with what appears to be a cross between oranges and onions on the package.
I can't wimp out, I mean, I'm sure I've had worse. I've gone to the depths
of candy hell and survived, but there's something about the unknown that
can send a chill up my spine. Here goes:
Hmmm, this is a tough one. I'm not sure if I like it or hate it, and to
be honest I'm not really sure what it is. This is so much easier when
you can read the package; it tells me what to expect and often eliminates
any confusion. Well let's start with the basics, it's covered in a dark,
slightly fruity chocolate. It seems to have a brown centre that's a little
nougat-like but a little gritty. Hey, I think I just bit a nut. Yes, I
did. I think it might be a hazel nut but I can't be certain. Actually
this part with the nuts aren't bad, it adds a little contrast both in
flavour and texture. This bar isn't bad just not really spectacular either.
