So I'm sure your looking at this treat and saying to yourself, "what kind of idiot eats a battery." Well, the battery is really just a clever way to package chocolate-covered espresso beans. I'll tell you it is clever, seeing as after eating too many of these you will probably have enough energy to power a flashlight for several months. This is all well and good but how do they taste? Well I have to say that I'm not a big coffee fanatic, but strangely enough I don't mind chocolate-covered coffee beans or in this case espresso beans.

So these treats fit in that category, but the interesting thing is that these have a candy coating. A little something extra that does make them a little different than your average chocolate, caffeine treat. I really think that the candy coating sweetens the espresso bean very nicely. If it was a coffee bean, it may have been too sweet and without the candy I do find the espresso a little bitter.

It was nice to see someone take an idea and add their own little idea, not bad at all.
