Christmas Balls

As a treat I have to be honest and say that there's nothing really that creative about these at all. That not to say that they're bad in any way. I mean chocolate filled caramel balls are generally pretty tasty and these are no exception. The problem is that they're not really that exceptional. The chocolate is ok and the caramel is fine, but if you're going to go for simple the ingredients better be great.

I guess when it comes to holiday treats I'm always holding my breath for some kind of ultra creative twist that makes this treat a real holiday winner. I'm pretty sure I've tasted this treat before as well, every season seems to have they're caramel filled ball treat with a different wrapper. Halloween for example has this treat but instead of little pictures of Santa doing his chores it's wrapped up as an eyeball.

I guess what I'm saying is if you want to accent your Christmas centrepiece with tasty treats these are great. If you're a candy fanatic looking for something spectacular or new try something else.
