Before I take a bite of this treat, I have to be honest. I'm a bit of a wimp when it comes to hot food. If this thing burns my mouth, chances are the review will sound more like the whimpering of a small schoolgirl than an objective commentary. I'm not really sure why they would create such a treat, but since I found it and for some reason I feel a loyalty to candy fans, I am about to hurt myself just a little bit.

Damn you, chili flavour, damn you to hell!! In this snack, the heat of the chili really didn't hit me until after I finished the whole treat. More importantly, it really didn't happen until after I had swallowed the whole thing. Honestly, though, it was a bit of a disappointment. I had the garbage can beside me to spit it out, but all I really got was a really sweet filling with no particular flavour. Then, just after the super-sweet chocolate flavour started to leave I got a bit of a heat tingle. I assure you it was little because I'm a big pansy when it comes to hot food and I didn't mind it that much.

I will say that the chocolate was pretty good. Smooth and sweet; well worth the idea of eating something that should have burned my mouth off. I was disappointed with the flavour of the filling although secretly I was relieved that it wasn't really that hot. A fun idea, but not something you should buy if you want to fool a friend, or if you have a real yen for hot food.
