Dark Chocolate Gold Brick Egg
Elmer's
I'm not sure why they call this a Gold Brick egg. After
all bricks are most often square so the idea of having the term brick
mixed with the term egg seems kind of silly. It could be that instead
they mean the kind of gold brick like the people who don't work much when
they're supposed to. Maybe it's saying that this treat is designed for
people that should be working but would rather eat a chocolate Easter
egg.
After one bite of this egg I'm thinking I'd rather be
working. Funny thing is since I review candy eating this egg is kind of
like working for me. I guess what I'm trying to say is that it's not that
great. It's basically filled with a dull flavourless chocolate type centre
that is slightly different from the outside stuff. It also appears to
have walnuts in it but it took me two bites to get to one. That and the
walnuts pretty much ad zero flavour at all. They say that the outside
is "dark chocolate" but I really don't taste it.
It seems that the stuff in the middle overpowers everything
even though it's not very tasty at all. It's a strange thing to eat, and
not very pleasant.
