Skittles and Popcorn

This idea came as a suggestion from someone who in theaters always dumps her candy into her popcorn. I figured 'Skittles' are a candy so why not try it out. You know what, I wasn't to disappointed. This mix is actually really good. The texture difference creates a great contrast, and the flavours actually really go well together. Most people think that sweet and salty are a strange mix, but I've found that for the most part they can be a great combination. Chocolate-covered pretzels are a key example of this great combination. So if your at a movie with a bag of 'Skittles' try dumping a few in your popcorn, you might be surprised.
