Now don't get all upset at me people, I mean really, I know that some of you don't think that cakes should be reviewed on a site called Candy Critic. Well to you I say, go start your own site and tell me that you could resist a cake filled with chocolate that not only had monkeys on the package but was also shaped like one. I should mention that I think monkeys are really cool.

The only real problem with this treat is the fact that keeping a cake in the form of a monkey is pretty much impossible so by the time I opened my package my monkey cake had issues. Sure he was tasty enough well and goodly packed full of chocolate. It's important that every bite have chocolate because cake can just suck on it's own. Needless to say it was sad taking a bite out of the misshapen treat that was supposed to be a monkey.

I guess the only other thing that kind of threw me was the size. I like to take big mouth fulls of cake. The way the soft cake and icing fill my mouth is a real pleasure to me. These are just a little too small, only a mouthful (maybe two).
