I can't tell you why I decided to review salt and vinegar chips.
I think it was just one of those cravings I couldn't leave behind.
I get those once in a while. I was walking downtown and I needed
a snack that was not too sweet... in fact, not sweet at all. A
bag of chips seemed to be in order. The more I thought about it,
the more I realized I wanted more than just not sweet; I wanted
to kick sweet's butt with salty sour. What can I say? Salt and
vinegar chips were the answer.
For those of you who have never tasted salt and vinegar chips
in your lives, I should warn you: they're pretty strong, or at
least they can be. In a perfect world, every bag of salt and vinegar
chips would burn off my tongue, but that's just me. This particular
bag didn't cause any internal injuries, but it satisfied my craving
quite well. If you've never tried something like these and you're
worried you might not like them, I'd like to suggest a way to
sample the flavour without the commitment.
What I suggest is, next time you're out on the town and you get
yourself some fries, why not add a little vinegar to them? This
works particularly well if you're at a fish and chips place. Don’t
worry about your reputation, either. If anybody says anything,
just tell them you're Canadian.
