Now that summer is here you're going to see a lot of ice cream reviews. Why? Well its hot and as long as I can write it off, ice cream is candy too. If you check out your local ice cream freezer, you'll notice a new trend - ice cream versions of already great treats. Is this a good idea? It is if you can still keep in spirit with the original treat. This ice cream sandwich is a perfect example of this. They could have easily slapped a couple of oversized cookies around some vanilla ice cream and called it 'Oreo'. But instead they took two giant cookies and filled it with a wonderful creamy ice cream. Its not vanilla, it really tastes much more creamy and best of all they added even more cookie to the ice cream. In the true spirit of cookies, this treat was great.
