Reese Cups 'Hazelnut Creme'
Reese
I have to say that I'm really impressed with these treats.
See I've had a few Reese cups in my time and almost all of them have peanut
butter in them, in fact wait a minute let me check the old reviews...
Yup this is a first for Reese as far as I know, this is the first time
they went with something other than peanut butter and good for them.
Sure the format is a little old, but it does work. They're
great for sharing and fun to eat. This time though your not getting something
layered in or mixed with peanut butter, this time you get a nice smooth
hazelnut spread. It's also really tasty too, and perfectly balanced with
the chocolate. I'd go so far as to say that the hazelnut wouldn't work
without the chocolate and the chocolate wouldn't work without the hazel
nut. They kind of taste like Nuttella if you need some kind of taste reference.
I'm normally not a big fan of variation treats (those
are threats the just slightly altar a classic treat) because they're not
really that creative or more importantly not really that great, but this
might be an exception. I have to say that I recommend trying one out,
and even hope they stick around for a while.
