It's very rare that I buy a treat on name alone, and this is
not going to be the exception. After all I'm a big fan of Reese
treats or really any treat with the yummy combination of chocolate
and peanut butter. I was also in the market at this time to get
an Easter themed snack to review for Candy Critic on this particular
holiday. So the name itself wasn't the only factor, however the
name was the part that caught my attention and was the straw on
the camels back that convinced me that this would be a great treat
to try.
The treat itself is kind of cute, although the bunny under the
wrapper is different than the bunny made of chocolate. This is
a slight peeve I have with treats like these, but I'm sure I won't
lose any sleep over it. The chocolate isn't too bad, which makes
me happy. It's a little shinny (often a sign of cheap chocolate)
but not so bad that it doesn't melt easily. In fact the chocolate
melted in my hands a bit while I was eating it (a very good sign).
The chocolate to peanut butter ratio is a little skewed depending
on where you bite into it. Where the peanut butter is thickest
the chocolate seems just right. Where the peanut butter is thinnest
it seems a little too chocolaty. I'm sure if it were a perfect
bar this problem would never happen. All in all it's a nice little
treat and so much fun to say it's name.
