Have you ever had a snack that you buy and you have no idea what to expect when you eat it, but when you do it really doesn't taste at all like you expect? Basically when I bought these I figured that I was probably going to enjoy some kind of cookie that maybe tasted like a fortune cookie, but instead I got something that just tasted like... well it's hard to explain. I guess it kind of tastes like deep fried dough, but it's really crunchy.

The closest thing I could compare it to taste wise is probably the dough on the outside of egg rolls, but instead of a somewhat soggy dough these are really crunchy. That and of course these don't have any bean sprouts or bits of pork. I guess the part that most surprised me was the fact that these aren't really that sweet either, kind of salty in fact. I was also expecting something chocolaty or even vanilla like but instead they're kind of bland, but not in a bad way at all.

At first I thought I really didn't like them at all but the more I eat the more I want to eat, strange no?
