While walking the streets of Ottawa the other day I came across this little chocolate shop. I always like to look around newly discovered candy stores and check out what they have to offer. On this particular occasion it was really cold outside so I wanted to warm up too. Well seeing as I couldn't possibly stay in a candy store for too long without buying I decided to pick something up, I mean it'd be rude not to.

I was going to go with one truffle but I always find that difficult because I never know which to choose. Maybe I could start a standard choice when I do reviews but in some cases it doesn't work. I decided instead to pick up what ever might be hiding in these little boxes. I figure they wouldn't want to give people their worst and hey it'd be a fun game to try and figure out what they are.

Well one of these seems to be a little boozy flavoured, or maybe licorice like. The chocolate is great, the inside smooth, but the filling is a little strong for my liking. I love the taste of chocolate and honestly it's a little lost on me right now.

The next one is kind of fun with a chocolate powder on top. The problem is the same though, the chocolate filling are nice and smooth but the flavouring is just killing everything.
