Organic Fruit Lollipop 'Tooberry Blueberry'

This very lollipop is a great example of why I enjoy organic treats. I've eaten more lollipops in my life than I ever care to share, although I have shared most of them. Over the years I've kept track of just about every single one I've had good or bad. The thing one finds when you eat that many lollipops is that most of them pretty much taste the same. Sure there are a few exceptions but in the grand scheme of things a unique flavoured lollipop is far and few between.

This lollipop on the other hand has a distinct flavour to it. A certain tart taste with just the right amount of sweet. It actually taste like fruit, not that this is essential, but it's a nice change of pace from the many fake flavours I've tasted over the years. The candy itself, texture and colour wise, is fairly standard, but that really doesn't bother me because the nice fruity taste really makes up for its average appearance.

So you may be asking what this has to do with organic candies over others. Well I have two answers for you. First of all if one is to make an organic flavoured candy one must adhere to the basic idea that a real fruit flavour is kind of essential, or why would it be organic. Secondly, and I've said this before, companies that use organic products to make their candies often pay a little more attention to detail. This is very true with this lollipop in particular to its resemblance in flavour to a real blueberry.
